Webmail access allows you to look into your mailbox on our server and see what mail is there before you download it - you do this through your web browser, e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome.

There are four reasons why you might want to do this;

1. Your PC might be in for repair so you can't access your usual e-mail programme.
2. You might be travelling and don't have a laptop with you.
3. You might have a really big e-mail in the mailbox that is blocking things.
4. A genuine e-mail might have been marked as spam and placed in your spambucket.
